Atlas, Desert and Oases Expedition 10 days trip mixed with trekking

Your guide will meet you at your Riad, after tour briefing here you off for your trip. The first 110km drive through plains north-east of Marrakech, will bring you to the magnificent nature bridge at Imi-n-Ifri. By foot you will explore this site before continuing your drive deep in the Central High Atlas and into Agouti village for a rewarding Lunch. and then a good discovery Trek in the Bouguemez Valley (named Happy valley).

Today you traverse the central High Atlas from less traveled road and  the highest paved one at  3000m. As soon as you get into the southern part of this mountains, you will be invited for an incredible trekking the through the scenic gorges.

at the end of your trek a short drop off by car to link to your overnight accommodation in Boumalen Dades.

After a healthy breakfast, here we off for another scenic day, exploring wending road of Dades gorges, visit the rock climbing winter destination at the Todghra gorges and all the way across the desert plateaus before arriving to the biggest sand dunes in morocco at Merzouga , we will stop and learn about an old underground  irrigation system calls Khatarat. At Merzouga you will be welcomed by your camel guides then ride to your overnight camp.

Driving distance 280km, depends on your timings there is a possibility of 2 hours trekking in Tinghir oases.

An early morning to witness the sunrise over the sand dunes, and then cross the  dunes back to the main road, after 45km drive through the desert plateaus towards Rissani. when we arrive to first Ksar you will notice the contrast between luxurious palm groves of Tafilalt valley and the arid desert lands. In Rissani we will enjoy  some time exploring the Tradition Souk. Rissani is the main important commercial center where nomads and villagers of the Ksars come to sell and buy necessary wares. The Town and the surrounding Tafilalt Valley is also the seat of the Alaouite Dynasty, the current Moroccan Royal Family. Furthermore we will continue towards the volcanic massif of Saghro and souther valleys at Tazarine we will take a detour to visit the Rock engravings site at Ouazik. A welcoming tea on the hotel terrace overlooking the oases and Mountains in the back ground , marks the end of our day.

Today we get deep into Ait Atta Land, as we will be dropped off by our driver at Bab N'Ali for our full day trek discovering the magnificent rock formation in the Saghro Mountains. Late in the afternoon we be driven back to our hotel.

Todays journey will takes through the legendary Draa Valley and Agdz. Agdz is a classic caravanserai oasis, situated on the old camel caravan route between Timbuktu in Mali and Marrakech. in the way to Tinifift pass at 1600m, you will be amazed with the vistas views of the snow-covered Atlas mountains and of the deep canyons. the next part is a gentle  descent to the Ouarzaat for a rewarding pause and time to visit Taourirt Kasbah, Cinema Studios. in the afternoon you will be arriving to the amazing Kasbah of Ait BenHaddou which is classified as a world Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Another early morning to visit the site of Ait BenHaddou and witness the golden sun light over the Kasbah, then we will drive up the Ounila Valley and our trek destination in Anmiter area.

Crossing the high Atlas south to north this time, via the famous Tizi-n-Tishka at 2260m, arriving to Marrakech at the beginning of the afternoon.
