Tour Plan
We’ll start our journey by meeting you at your riad, hotel, or any location in Marrakech. From there, we’ll head towards the High Atlas Mountains. Our route will take us through the Tichka Pass, a scenic and winding road sitting 2,260 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll pass picturesque villages, lush valleys, and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. By midday, we’ll arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have ample time to explore this iconic location, famous for appearing in films and TV series such as Gladiator, Babel, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.
After a tasty lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate, then make our way to the Valley of Roses before reaching our accommodation in the Dades Valley—a lush, green area surrounded by dramatic rocky slopes.
After a hearty breakfast, we head out for Todra Gorge, a spectacular 300-meter-high canyon with flowing water. One of southeastern Morocco’s top attractions, Todra Gorge draws both locals and tourists, and is a favorite spot for climbers. Our journey continues through Melaab and Erfoud, renowned as Morocco’s fossil city.
In the afternoon, we enter the majestic Erg Chebbi Desert, where the true adventure begins. From the village of Merzouga, we set off on a camel ride through the expansive dunes towards a desert camp. Along the way, we stop to witness the mesmerizing sunset. After dinner at the camp, the evening comes alive with a vibrant drum performance around the campfire, provided by the locals. Merzouga offers the perfect setting for stargazing and capturing the wonders of the night sky.
Not only the sunsets are amazing over the sand dunes, attending sunrises are also a breathtaking experience. After breakfast, we journey towards Fes, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our route takes us through the famous cedar forests, home to Morocco's wild monkeys, offering a scenic drive with lush greenery and breathtaking views. We continue on to Ifrane, often called "Little Switzerland" for its European-style architecture and alpine feel. After a refreshing stop in Ifrane, we proceed to Fes, enjoying the changing scenery as we approach this historic city, known for its rich culture and vibrant medina filled with memories of unforgettable landscapes and cultural treasures.
