Tour Plan
We’ll begin our adventure by meeting you at your riad, hotel, or any location in Marrakech. From there, we’ll head toward the High Atlas Mountains, traveling through the scenic Tichka Pass, which sits at 2,260 meters above sea level. As we drive, you'll pass charming villages, lush valleys, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. By midday, we’ll reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, where you’ll have plenty of time to explore this iconic location, known for its appearances in films and TV shows like Gladiator, Babel, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.
After a delicious lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate, then head toward the Valley of Roses before arriving at our accommodation in the Dades Valley, a lush area framed by dramatic rocky slopes.
After a healthy breakfast, we set off for Todra Gorge, a breathtaking 300-meter-high canyon with flowing water. As one of southeastern Morocco’s most popular attractions, Todra Gorge is a favorite among locals, tourists, and climbers alike. Our journey continues through Melaab and Erfoud, known as Morocco’s fossil city.
In the afternoon, we enter the awe-inspiring Erg Chebbi Desert, where the adventure truly begins. From the village of Merzouga, we embark on a camel ride across the vast dunes toward our desert camp. Along the way, we pause to marvel at the mesmerizing sunset. After a delicious dinner at the camp, the night comes alive with a lively drum performance around the campfire, provided by the locals. Merzouga offers a perfect backdrop for stargazing, allowing you to experience the magic of the night sky.
An early wake up to watch the sun laying its golden lights over the big sand dunes, after breakfast you will be join the main road by camels or 4x4 vehicle. then we begin our return journey to Marrakech, traveling through the scenic landscapes of southeastern Morocco. Our route takes us via Ouarzazate, where we’ll stop to explore this fascinating city, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Ouarzazate is home to impressive kasbahs and the famous Atlas Film Studios, where many iconic movies have been filmed. Continuing our journey, we pass through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, offering stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the diverse landscapes, from arid deserts to lush valleys, before arriving back in Marrakech, where your adventure ends.
